Dr. Scott Guthrie treats each patient with expertise and empathy. His passion for chronic pain management began in dental school when he saw a gap in the understanding of treatment options for this unique group of patients. After suffering through years of jaw pain, and being dismissed by other healthcare providers, he understands first hand how frustrating and debilitating chronic facial pain can be. He wants to provide personalized care, attention, and understanding in a field that has historically left patients feeling frustrated and unheard.

After graduating from LECOM School of Dental Medicine in 2023, he then went on to complete a two year residency training program in Orofacial Pain at the University of Kentucky. While in residency, Dr. Guthrie was trained in the non-surgical management of Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorders, Neuropathic Pain conditions such as Trigeminal Neuralgia and Burning Mouth Syndrome, as well as Headache Disorders, and Obstructive Sleep Apnea. He is board certified by the American Board of Orofacial Pain.
